Included are some stills from my upcoming fashion film shot on VHS. The film intends to explore modern British identity, there are underlying themes of globalization and nationalism. Inspired by recent British politics I wanted to create a film which was a reaction to the growing sense of hostility within Britain, I set out to create a feeling of alienation, dystopia and discomfort, interpreted through sound and character. Through my use of styling I have nodded at seminal prints, textures and shapes all of which have connotations surrounding British identity.
