The Lost Kingdom of Rave

Remaining the status of the most well-known music festival in the post-soviet space for almost twenty years, «Kazantip» has shown itself in many different ways before its recent closure by Russian authorities in 2016. Based on the eponymous Pavel Pepperstein story on the festival, the film discovers its atmosphere through the literary experience, whereas photography made by Sergey Medvedev captures its ruins - the most impressive monument of the Russia that has been once free.
