Moustache Postiche

For this postiche I wanted to create a handlebar moustache with curled ends.

At first I was unsure of the correct ventilating directions for the philtrum, so on the left side the hair lays diagonally flat and unnatural, in comparison to the right side which lays more naturally (see image 3).

However I overlooked this for the sake of testing and directed the human remy hair with a blow dryer and vented radial brush to suggest the form of the moustache. The style was completed with moustache wax, pinned to the malleable block in place to maintain the structure.

The postiche has been adhered with spirit gum.
