Fashion is nothing but looking for the "thing-in-itself'. In order to find the image that we have of ourselves, one has to be able to view him or herself through the eyes of others. Conversely, for whom does this physical body exist? Does it matter to have the answer? Yes and No. Even if they are wearing in the exact same way, what they have felt can be completely different. This is the gap that comes with fashion.
