This work is a collection of photographs which aimed to capture intimacy, sensuality, femininity, and a range of human emotions. This collection is divided into two chapters : (1) Duality, representing are inner (self) battles, and (2) Fusion, representing the need to connect with others. The concept of ‘duality’ and ‘fusion’ are represented through the use of symmetry, as well as overlayed imagery. I have decided to share my personal experiences through others' faces. This work encourages transparency as it sparks sincere human connections. As researcher and author Brené Brown believes, vulnerability is power. In the second chapter, I have also decided to represent the feeling of "entrapment" to reflect the difficulty (yet vital need) of freeing one's self from toxic and abusive relationships.

This work is a collection of photographs which aimed to capture intimacy, sensuality, femininity, and a range of human emotions. This book is divided into two chapters: (1) Duality, representing are inner (self) battles, and (2) Fusion, representing our need to connect with others. The concept of ‘duality’ and ‘fusion’ are represented through the use of symmetry, as well as overlayed imagery. As researcher and author Brené Brown believed, “vulnerability is power”. I have therefore aimed to encourage transparency by sharing my own heartbreaking experiences through others’ faces. It aims to empower women against the deep-rooted male chauvinism embedded in our culture. Moreover, I’ve also represented the feeling of “entrapment” in order to represent the difficulty (yet vital need) of freeing yourself from abusive and toxic relationships.Soundtrack : Brené Brown in "The power of Vulnerability" (2010), Ted Talk.
