Throughout experimental process I have been exploring the theme of ‘smash it, clash it’ through my use of heavy and lightweight fabrics and clashing textures. My project began with exploring the theme of transparency using both the work of Samara Scott, and my primary research into windows as inspiration for mark making and textile sampling. To push this forward, I looked at the work of Zaha Hadid which brought more fluid shapes and three-dimensionality into my sampling.
