In Experience & Environment we had as our starting point audios from the British Library. Looking for the common trait between our audios, we noticed that although our subjects are completely different, the feelings they convey are similar. Politics, journeys, relationships, manipulation, music and cooking, are all combined by being themes that us, as a collaborative group of young students, as well as friends, would talk about during a meal. We thought of a table as a setting for this exchange to happen, therefore, the dinner became the environment for the discussion to happen. While sharing food, thoughts and uncertainties that were presented in our audios triggered our conversations. What became evident was the amount of questions rising and the incapability of answering them. By projecting into a table the footage of a dinner we shared, a multilayered experience is then created. The audience hears the risen questions out of context, and therefore is invited to insert them in their lives, reflecting on what the answers could be.
