It is the year 802701 and the world is submerged in water. The last descendants of humanity have evolved to survive in this extreme environment and have developed a symbiotic predator-prey relationship. The Morlocks consume the Eloi to survive whilst the Eloi are dependant on the chemicals which the Morlocks excrete. Submerged within the deep, they glow with bioluminescent light, the transhuman qualities with which these creatures are imbued have allowed them to survive whilst the rest of the species was destroyed. The time traveller watches them from his underwater suit, the changed climate burns his skin after his long submersion. The end of the world is quiet and dark and beautiful.
