Wasting food will lead to an increase in greenhouse gas emissions, which can make the climate crisis worse. As you can see, the material I use for my sculpture is reconstituted from discarded vegetables and starchy foods. Inspired by the greenhouse effect and rising temperatures, this silhouette shows a melting earth. Through the sculpture, I hope to make the audience realise the seriousness, urgency and importance of this matter and stop wasting foods.
