PANTONE COLLABORATE WITH BEAUTY BRAND, BUTTER LONDON, TO SHOWCASE 2019s COLOUR OF THE YEAR: LIVING CORAL.
That time of year has come again.
Pantone have revealed which colour will be named ‘colour of the year’ for 2019. And it is Living Coral.
In honour of unveiling the new colour, it has become tradition that Pantone collaborates with Butter London to create a collection featuring the colour of the year. Last year saw a five-piece collection of the Ultra Violet selected colour.
And this year is no different, as Butter London has unveiled three new nail polishes, a lip gloss and a blush stick featuring the blooming coral colour. A colour which is much more suited for makeup, many beauty lovers are pleased with the unveiled collection.
“The collection is a must have for any nail enthusiasts out there,” Says Sharmadean Reid, founder of WAH nails which is located in Soho, London. “Coral is a colour that can do no wrong!”
The three nail polishes feature the same tone of coral, but the finish depends on which one you opt for. The collection includes an original nail lacquer formula, a peel off glitter formula for a little more glam and easy removability, and lastly a crushed diamond patent shine finish for that extra touch of luxury.
Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of Pantone colour institute, has described the new shade as “a life-affirming coral hue that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge”. This comment from Eiseman will no doubt affirm 2019 will begin brightly.
The new release will be available for purchase over the course of December and January as the brand opt for a gradual release over time to create more suspense and want.
So be sure to keep an eye out on Nails Inc and the next release of their new collaboration with Pantone.
