Defense

The collection aims to question sexual abuse and to help women to defense. Sexual abuse can happen in everywhere in daily life. So I explored everyday objects to create my statement piece. For instance, I sourced two brass toilet roll holders and two stainless steel fine mesh sieves, and connected them with tubes and screws. It is a bust piece, which can be worn on the neck and chest. It is strong and powerful. Moreover, it can definitely protect breasts. In term of my three diffusion pieces, I also created jewellery pieces with the function of defense. For example, there are two hooks on breast charm; each hook can protect each breast. The reversible ring is not only a ring, but also a weapon, because it has a sharp brass spike. My diffusion pieces also include a bracelet, which has thick brass wire and two thick brass round discs. It looks strong and can make women stronger. I hope my collection can bring courage and power to women, let them stronger and more powerful. When they wear my pieces, they actually can able to defense sexual abuse.
