Apocalypse

I would like to connect historical events with current social issues and political ideology. Through my association and sci-fi elements, I created a narrative virtual visual effect painting. In this work, my idea is from the story of the k-19 submarine, thus associating with the public's doubts about the authenticity of the event in post-truths and the purpose of deceiving the public through human factors. I used sci-fi elements to show in a hypothetical space that a submarine is about to complete construction and is ready to go to sea, but the submarine's lack of scaffolding also indicates that the submarine is rushing to complete the political task for the blind pursuit of political influence. The quality problems exposed by the project also made the submarine's going to sea destined to become a tragedy. However, the crew used mind control equipment to attempt to eliminate the fear caused by the quality problems of the submarine through mind control. Huge buildings, hard ice seas, and unpredictable storms in the distance also indirectly symbolically respond to the insignificance of human nature under the grand political ideology. In the face of history, personal will and political ideology cannot be counterbalanced.
