I have this peculiar need to disappear, not only to other people's eyes but also my own. Through this project, I wanted to explore my desire to no longer exist, especially in public. Waldo (or Wally) is the character that I chose to represent the anxiety that a crowd can induce. Because it is a common feeling, I have expressed it quite literally, demonstrating how easy it is to hide with clothes. Using the volume and layers of crinolines, I "misplaced" them around the body in order to allow its disappearance. By adding excessive details to my design, I push the viewer to focus on the garment rather than the person wearing it.
