The publication was inspired by Naomi Wolf's "The Beauty Myth" and the fact that female bodies, unlike male bodies, are often being commodified and sexualized for someone's pleasure. The outcome of this project shows how similar female and male bodies are by using close up images which make it almost impossible to determine the gender of the photographed model. The images aim to prove that there is something about human bodies, beyond sexuality, that is interesting and attractive. The hand-bound publication contains 20 unretouched photos of both female and male body parts. It comes with a plastic wallet with a text screen printed on it.

Hand-bound photo album for the darkroom prints produced while working on the project.
