An Illustration of what can and has been found in London’s River Thames. As a project for the Museum of London Docklands, this drawing is designed to be an informative hand out for younger audiences. Each item visible on the illustration is listed on the backside, with a short description or story behind it. Since the river is known for its preservative abilities, with its anaerobic mud, most of the chosen items are either historical findings displayed in the museum, mundane objects or personal items, varying through all eras. This project aims to change the reader’s perspective of the Thames to view it as an invaluable source of new findings rather than a plain river.
