Portrait sculpture is a meticulous process, which I found really enjoyable. I found that creating a sculpture of someone is a very candid experience in which you examine the relationship between someone's inner and outer self. Between my 2nd and 3rd year at Wimbledon, I have completed 3 seperate, portrait projects and cast two in bronze.

Portrait of Ron Stone

The most recent portrait I have completed, of my partner's late father, whom I admired dearly.

Portait of Judith Waring

A portrait of my Mum that I sculpted in Monster Clay and cast at a fantastic foundry in Hackney.

Portrait of Rayvenn D'Clarke

This is the first portrait that I completed for a unit in my second year. I made plaster casts and experimented with different painted effects
