For this project, I have replicated an 18th century Mongolian costume with can be found in the National Museum of Copenhagen in Denmark. This costume consists of a heavily decorated sleeved caftan and a sleeveless caftan. These garments are thought to have been worn for formal events.

Construction of the costume
Screen printing of the designs from home. The designs were cut out in vinyl with a vinyl cutter and placed on a silk screen sticky side up.
