Unearthing Mars is an interactive, analogue gaming experience exploring the social and ethical issues surrounding the human habitation of Mars. It is played at The Hub, Regents Park London, frequented by space enthusiasts. The project examines the conflicts between sustainability and unrestrained expansionism on Earth. It raises those issues by projecting the same social and ethical dilemmas onto our potential future habitation of the Red Planet.
