This costume was designed and created for the 2020 World of Wearable Art Competition. The theme this costume is inspired by is Aotearoa which is the Maori name of New Zealand. For this project I wanted to create a garment that would represent the islands of New Zealand and the culture of the native Maori people.

Grass sample
