Final Major Project

Architecture and nature as themes stand out to me, particularly as a means of expressing myself artistically. I wanted to explore the different ways of presenting structure and the different processes I can go through to create different marks and shapes. As a start to the project, I thought it would be interesting to document the impossible structures I came across in my dreams as I remember them. Attempting to create a structure that technically shouldn’t exist was very freeing. Through various adaptations of mediums, I compiled together a series of floor-plans from the architectural structures I designed. I loved the labyrinth like structure all of the layouts created when stacked together. I photographed it on my concreted side passage of my house, attempting to create the illusion of it being a life-sized building.
