"Fake Art" originates from my deep reflection on the increasing commercialization and formalization of contemporary art. Today, many works, in their pursuit of market demand and media attention, have gradually lost genuine artistic substance, replacing it with a focus on "novelty" and "iconic appearances. " By accumulating discarded materials from the creative process and intentionally crafting objects devoid of any conceptual meaning, I aim to satirize this hollow and superficial art form. In a fictional context, I create a ‘rising star’ who is touted by the market, and through this dramatic representation, I reveal the absurd roles of artists, curators and audiences in this system, further exploring the deep-seated contradictions in the relationship between art, the market and the audience.
