The aim of this project was to visualise the UK results of the 2019 EU Elections - the last EU Elections the UK would ever participate in. I studied existing publications to decide how to best represent each type of data, and ensure that the visualisation of it was not biased. The visual style is inspired by that of editorials in newspapers, as this is the theoretical audience I had in mind. On the left using the map, people can click on the different electoral regions and compare the results of said region to 2014. On the right, pulling out the tab reveals the national results.
