Inspired by the medical plants at the Chelsea Physic Garden, I designed a ring as a gift for my unwell father to send hope. The design is based on a flower bud to symbolize life and growth. The contrasting material of real plant with the copper outer shell is to emphasize the sensitivity of rising life and beauty within growth. The visualisation that emphasizes the beauty of life empowers the wearer to go through every hardship they encounter.
