Down the Pipe is an interactive installation involving a range of free hanging ceramic pipes, a ladder and a watering pot. Inviting the audience to engage in a physical interaction with the artwork. The title ‘Down the Pipe’ acknowledges the contrasting use of fresh drinking water and sewage pipes. All pipes will be produced using local mined clay; a raw material resonant with the capacity for transformation. The installation will be 5m long by 3m high by 1.5m wide.
