Life / Death formed as a reaction to the current fashion system of mass and loss manifesting from the notion that fashions are created to be destroyed. It considers fashions temporality and the modern condition; questioning the concept of the body and its correlation to fashion alongside the relationship between the eternal and ephemeral, memory and modernity. Through materiality-driven discourses, the research explored a way to humanise the birth, death and re-birth of fashion.
