This project was a collaborative project where we had to create two characters for a production of Cabaret. We chose to take influence from a Russian artist called Alexej Von Jawlensky. I worked closely with costume to create a makeup that not only worked well with the costume but also had an organic flow throughout - almost like a Jawlensky painting. For this project, I created prosthetics which were made to look like paint brush strokes which I applied to the neck in the hands of my character. The overall make up was a painted effect which I achieved through using watercolour paints. For this character, I also made a wig in a bob style paying homage to the original Cabaret.
