This project is a visual reflection on cultural identity. Essentially it is based on the assumption, that in a more and more globalized world, current representations of cultural identity, hence national symbols, are going to be obsolete at some point, as they don't manage to represent the multi-layered and dynamic cultural identities of people, that do not solely identify with just one culture. Based on a survey done with bicultural people (people that live between two cultures) this passport was designed to raise awareness for these changes. It is an invitation to rethink about the concepts of cultures and start seeing, that we are slowly but surely growing into a global village, where our diversity is not only acknowledged but embraced.
