About me

I like to roll my sleeves up and get fully ’stuck in to’ all aspects the making process from design and research, all the way through to construction. I would love for by the end of my placement year I have a fully rounded understanding of both business and design processes. I possess a burning desire to learn, improve and challenge my knowledge of all aspects of the fashion industry. I am heavily inspired by traditional techniques and methods of construction while always researching for new ways to breathe new life into a classic footwear style, through use of new and exciting materials and leather finishes. Although I believe there is no better alternative to leather, I have a deep interest in the development of fibre technology, used in such products as pinãtex and bark leather. I would love to have a chance to work with said material to experiment and inject my own style design using these innovative materials. I frequently work with bands to produce live gig photography that captures the personality of the band and ambience of the venue. I also create portraiture based, yet surreal album art fit for the needs of the client.
