BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear

About me

Graduating Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear student at London College of Fashion. My work focuses on developing processes of fashion design over designing specific garments. This focus is rooted in my belief that we need to radically overhaul the very basics of the fashion supply chain and design model in order to suitably address the climate crisis. Because of this, my work is aimed at imagining new ways for designers, makers and customers to interact with each other and the garments we own and make. Collaboration and questions of ownership around designs are important parts of my design process, particularly in ways that engage those outside of fashion design and the users of the garments. I am also interested in the ways that we can engage technology during design, both through materiality and through exploring technologies and systems built to have the powers of design.
