About me

My name is Silvia Martínez Cerezo and I am a multidisciplinary artist interested in creating space for conversation and critical reflection around fashion. I like to tell stories by creating ‘things’ that are visually disruptive while having minimal environmental impact. I do what I can, where I am, with what I have. Sometimes I sew, others I shoot, others I perform. My guiding thread is to challenge myself and experiment. Yet, I research on fashion psychology and consumer behaviour to better understand the heart of our thinking. My goal, in sum, is to raise awareness on sustainability and conscious consumption within and beyond fashion. To do so, I work across advertising, design and communication looking for innovative and engaging ways of making people think forward.
