BA (Hons) Costume for Theatre and Screen
Chloé Emily Stevens is a London based graduate and freelance costume designer from Birmingham, strongly influenced by the fine art movements of Surrealism and Dadaism. She specializes in experimental and innovative design, often experimenting with unusual and unconventional fabrics/media; more recently exploring the combination of latex and fabric manipulation. Aware of synthetic dyes and their impacts on the environment, Chloé’s interest in natural dyes and fabric recycling is constantly expanding, encouraging her to start her own natural-dye-based projects outside of her degree. She has designed and styled for short film, outdoor immersive theatre performance and music videos.
