Daniel Pakdel is a field recordist, composer, and experimental video artist whose work sits at the intersection of sound and eco-phenomenology. Their research and creative practice investigate the nature of perception and psychological inquiry in relation to the more-than-human world, seeking new ways of coexisting that move beyond anthropocentric rationale. By drawing attention to non-human voices, Daniel aims to give them expressive power in his work. As of late, he has expanded into the interactive domain, using Arduino-based technologies to experiment with participatory soundscapes as catalysts for pro-environmental behaviour.
