About me

I am a Scottish knitwear designer currently based in London. Throughout my practice there is embedded themes of heritage, identity and my personal interests. Focused on responsible material use, I endeavour to source natural fibres from British spinners and suppliers. Fascinated by colour, I explore the possibilities of combining and contrasting more traditional colour with bright poppy shades, influenced from my interest in 60s fashion. I aim to design playful and beautifully constructed knitwear made to last, hoping to make the wearer feel connected to the piece and empowered, whilst remaining true to their own identity.
