Influenced by the compositions and layers that form on the walls that line the city’s streets, I make paintings that are a visual representation of public chatter. I am a visual artist based in Essex and London. I wander audibly through passing conversations, dipping in and out of sentences that float in the atmosphere. The phrases that appear in the work are the audible equivalent of the non-place and I am the flâneur stumbling upon them.
