Grace McEntee - Graduate

About me

Grace is an Irish costume maker with a love for the historical and fantastical, based in South London. Her two final year projects involve carefully chosen fabrics, distinctive period silhouettes and an array of hand finishing techniques. Her recreation of the gown from an 1859 Winterhalter portrait is supported by many layers of undergarments, all made specifically for this project, and her entirely hand sewn 1915 Parisian Day Dress displays over 15 metres of embroidery.
