Hi， I am Lei Zhang. I am a fashion and costume designer，also a fresh performance designer.In my final project the case, I want to discuss identity confusion and self-criticism. It was inspired by my own experience, I always compare myself to others and deny myself every day. I stay inside my negative thoughts and those thoughts hurt me. it makes me think about what I really want in my life and how should I face the anxiety which was brought by social expectation and social media. This project is my little thought about it.I used costume as a medium to show the emotion changing and feeling because clothing bears a lot of meaning. It is also an experiment about how can costume benefit the performance in different ways.
