Rui Liu is a Chinese artist with a background in Landscape Design. She is currently a MA Fine art student at CSM. Rui’s mediums are typically sculpture and installation. Her research focuses on walking as art, exploring states of memory, personal experience and ideology. The work explores performative concepts through different acts of walking in the city, both metaphorical and abstract. At the same time, combining sculpture and video, she also experiments with more materials and media in the production process expanding within the material world.
