Siqi Li is an artist currently based between London and Beijing whose practice is based in photography, text and archival interventions. Her practice explores the centric and profound human experiences such as loss and longing. Navigating through history, as well as the personal and collective memory, themes of displacement and nostalgia is a reoccurring element in her intimate approach to story telling. Drawing from the mythologies of the familial gaze, post memory and cultural identity, her work re-examines the structure and social meaning of home and our recollection of the past.
