I am a History of Art graduate, continuing my studies in the field of Fashion History and Curation at London College of Fashion. As a historian, my aim is to tell overlooked stories, taking an interdisciplinay approach to material culture studies and exploring social history through fashion. Building on the research I did for my dissertation, I intend to work as a curator of sustainable fashion, reflecting and translating current cultural concerns to connect objects, artists and audiences. Fashion exhibitions speak to the imagination and have the power to capture public attention, creating platforms to communicate important ideas. As a curator, I will use their storytelling potential to draw in diverse audiences, communicate the need for sustainable development and help highlight people and events who have been written out of history.
