About me

I investigate quotidian consumer commodities and scrutinise their materiality as attempts to unveil invisible systems of power. I interweave folklore and traditions from my Pre Christian heritage, which growing up for me was a source of resistance to the colonial ideology. I take consumer goods and materials for a spin in a kind of Shamanic carnivalesque ritual, or explore their spirit-summoning entities, thus exposing them as part of 'the society of the spectacle'.
