About me
I am a practice-based designer, maker, and artist working with wearable and body-related artefacts, grounded in a background in jewellery making. My practice encompasses speculative devices and author jewellery, through which I question society’s relentless pursuit of efficiency and technological automation, and speculate on how these developments affect authentic connections between individuals.I treat the body as a canvas for creativity, using prototyping and material exploration that are informed by the corporeal properties of the body. My design development process shifts between play, testing objects on the body and in space, and critical reflection, allowing ideas to emerge through physical and sensory engagement and analysis.
