Yifan Wei is a jewellery designer and illustrator currently studying MA Design: Jewellery at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. She received her BA from the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in Beijing and was awarded the 2025 London Design Awards.Her practice explores women’s experiences and emotions through poetic approaches to kinetic jewellery, modular structures, and personalised wearable design. Combining silver, brass, enamel, gemstones, and gravity-based mechanical systems, her work investigates bodily interaction, emotional expression, and shifting wearable identities through dynamic jewellery structures. Inspired by natural flowers, painting, model toys, and contemporary popular culture, she creates wearable works that exist between sculpture, ornament, and emotional narrative.
