MA Fashion Design Technology (Menswear)
I am a fashion designer whose practice explores the tension between randomness and silhouette through innovative pattern cutting and silhouette engineering. My project AMORPHOUS MELT draws from the uncontrolled, organic patterns formed by melting cheese, translated through a human aerial perspective to inform a pattern cutting methodology. The resulting garments follow the human body while resisting symmetry, investigating how seemingly random silhouette, fabric and color interactions can be engineered into wearable forms. My work is driven by material-led research and an ongoing inquiry into balance between chance, control, and aesthetic intention.
