Yuqing Wang, who currently works in stage lighting, is now studying in MA Theatre and Performance Design at University of the Arts London. She graduated from Fine Arts Design of Drama, Film and TV at National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts and studied stage lighting design. In the last two years of her undergraduate, she worked as stage manager in four plays, which allowed her to become familiar with the theatre production process and backstage work. Yuqing did the lighting design in MDS_London’s spring production of “The Pillowman” and “Dead Romance” at Camden Fringe in 2024. In September of the same year, she participated in three plays as a lighting designer in the Goldsmiths graduation show: Now & Then Festival.
