Nandini Jain - Graduate

About me

I am a graduate from the world's top university of Fashion and Design- London College of Fashion, University of Arts London, class of 2021 .I would like to work for a fashion brand if I admire the brand’s values & ground-breaking vision. Working with a company would allow me to develop my career within the fashion industry supporting an entrepreneurial and like-minded team. The construction of the house’s garments consists of a concealed craft that only a skilled couture atelier at their peak can achieve which really appeals to me. Collaborative work with emerging designers was an objective of my second year university enterprise project where I worked with Jean Paul Gaultier’s collection. I have achieved the Certificate in LECTRA AWARDS- 3D Prototype Pattern Cutting. I have gained a considerable amount of experience and knowledge whilst in LCF, specialising in digital pattern cutting, working on softwares like Lectra(Modaris), Optitex and Gerber. I have gained ACA exam certificates in INDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator experimenting with the design software and manual pattern cutting. This has been supported by my internships within the industry, working for various creative and marketing agencies. I have been doing an internship lately in a production house with Shantanu and Nikhil (Fashion Designer -India) and ASHISH -Fashion Production House- for production house retail experience - Uniqlo, Charles Tyrwhitt and Kusal Jewellers. I am very organised and have a keen attention to detail and enjoy seeing projects from start to finish.
