Sourena Ghaffari

About me

I am a fashion designer specialising in womenswear, a fashion contributor for the BBC, and have worked for Burberry, Bottega Veneta and Giorgio Armani in London. I am passionate about making clothes for women that allow them to express themselves. I graduated from University of the Arts London, London College of Fashion, BA (Hons) in Fashion design technology womenswear (this is my second degree, my first was in Economics and Management). I won the sustainable H&M competition in my first year of university, which resulted in a feature for a BBC TV documentary on sustainability. In addition my work was featured in Women's Wear Daily online and Huffington post online. I also got invited to the Oscars 2015 as a fashion commentator on the red carpet for the BBC TV. I have produced and presented a few fashion programmes which were broadcasted worldwide.
