I am a photographer focused on the notion of placing concepts and ideas above material form, where theorisation is regarded a primary act. This line of enquiry has lead me to delve in the ‘Conceptual Art’ movement looking at Sol LeWitt, who postulates that ‘if words are used, and they proceed from ideas about art, they are art, not literature’. This is reflected in my practice, where I establish written guidelines or manifestos to adhere to, giving my work a predetermined aim.
