About me

I take inspiration from personal experience and the pursuit to learn more. The only way to find a great idea is to have lots of ideas, accessories should be timeless pieces that make a statement in regards to one’s personal style. Having lived in the east end for over 19 years, inspiration was never a shortage and growing up in a family who are mostly makers, from mechanics to seamstresses has had a big impact on my life. Absorbing all these traits influenced me- it always has to be functional design. I studied Textiles Technology at GCSE level, which moved me into studying Fashion and Textiles at A level, and then I progressed onto studying an Accessory design degree at the London College of Fashion. This course teaches students how to construct accessories predominantly using leather, these skills have helped me progress into my love for product design pieces, product design has always been a underlying passion of mine, I love the thought of designing or creating something that contributes to making a house and home, I have quite a minimalistic taste with a love for wood, copper and other metals. Modern and classic architecture is a big inspiration to my designs and I try to incorporate many of this inspiration as and where I can. If loving fashion is a crime I plead guilty !
