Megan Day Haynes' practice embodies the fakery of illusion. Her practice teeters between the realms of the virtual and the physical, attempting to create a physical reproduction of a digital original and visa versa. Material and immaterial are activated in a way that creates an element of surprise. There is an element of change or an intervention as each work plays with illusion perception, form and space; while commenting upon the traditions of the art world or a society.
