Zihao Shen is a mixed media artist, whose practice includes making photography and painting. He is primarily based in London, Shanghai and Sydney. In his work, Shen aims to eliminate the boundaries between the photography and painting, with both practices grappling with the relationship between reality and indexical, imaginary and emotional. For him, painting is a manifestation of recreating memory.
